Babbington Rescue CIC was first established in February 1993 to cater for stray and abandoned dogs. We have a none destruction policy and now deal with almost 1100 dogs a year, this represents over 1% of the total UK stray and abandoned dogs annually as recorded by the Dogs Trust. Since the rescue changed hands in mid 2003, we have found homes for nearly 4000 dogs, who through no fault of their own have come into our care.
We are continually looking to re-home our dogs, and we invite you to enquire about the animals we have in our care, all of whom are looking for someone to offer them the love and attention they crave. We hope you will find the time to look through our website knowing there is a dog waiting for you.
As we are a non profit organisation, ALL of our income goes straight to our dogs to pay for vaccinations, spaying/neutering, any other vet care needed, microchipping, food, water, heating, bedding, staff etc. We are a true dog rescue, in more than just name.
Always check that you are at a licenced dog rescue. All our full time staff have either an NVQ3 in animal care or a National Diploma in animal care. We carry both employee and public liability insurance.
We have an onsite shop, cafe and children's play area at Babbington Hall, and for your convenience we will shortly have a number of pet products for sale on our website.
The staff at Babbington Rescue thank you for your visit and hope that one day we can offer you one of our adorable dogs, who will be your pet and loyal friend for life.
Opening Hours: 10.30am till 3.30pm, 7 days a week
We also have boarding facilities to look after your dog while you are on holiday. Babbington Hall Kennels and Cattery provides accommodation suitable for all types of dogs, together with a small internal cattery. Our boarding company supports Babbington Rescue.
The kennels have suitable accommodation for all sizes and numbers of dogs, including quiet areas for the older or nervous dog, all heated throughout any cold periods.
The cattery is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. All rooms have a large sleeping and feeding shelf, a chair and a range of toys. You can bring your own bed or we can supply a bed or igloo.
We invite you to visit our Kennels and Cattery website here for more information about our boarding service.
