Everyone is welcome to come to our Grand opening of our new shop and cafe, it will be Thursday 22nd July at 4pm, ribon cutting by Scarsdale vet senior partner. BBQ, hot and cold drinks avaible. For children we have a new play area for them to have fun on. So come and have a look and enjoy yourselves.

We have just opened our new shop and cafe. We are open 7 days a week, 9am till 5pm. Please come and look at all our new doggie goodies. We will be having a opening ceromeny in a couple of weeks which the press and our sponsors will be attending if anyone wishes to come.

This years fun day will be Saturday 21st August 2010. We have just got in touch with all our sponsors and are sorting out a schedule for the dog show. We have comfirmed SCAMPs will be back with us this year and the Fly ball team. Anyone wanting to have a stall, bake cakes, help out or have any fun games for the day please let us know. We will have our amazing BBQ again with our top chef and our new Education unit and shop will be newly open for you to have a look around. Please ring for a schedule anytime from 1st Aril 2010. We are open 7 days a week. 10 am till 3pm, but we do close for a luch break 12.30 till 1.30pm every day. No appointment needed

We get asked alot to go and do talks to groups, schools and other charities about what we do. So we are looking for someone that will be able to help us make a video to explain about us and what we do. If you think you can help please ring and ask for Tony 0115 932 4576

We are hoping to rebuild one of our blocks of kennels in a year, when we have raised more money, but if anyone has any materials they wish to donate in the mean time, they would be greatly recieved. Many thanks.

We have just opened a grooming salon at the rescue. 2 members of staff are qualified groomers. We are good with problem dogs also, so if you have been turned away from others we will give it a go. We do all breeds no one is too big for us. Ring for prices, open 9 am till 5pm, Mon to Fri. Ask for Sam or Laura

All SBT male and females if not already neutered/speyed come with a free voucher to be done at Scarsdale vets in Derby free of charge with adoption. Which means all SBT are £139 with vaccinations, chipping, insurance and neutering/speyig. This may also apply to some SBT x depending on our money situation as we are having to pay for the vouchers. All dogs are bathed and checked prior to rehoming.

We would like to give heartfelt thanks from ourselves and the dogs to everyone who has shown us wonderful support through 2009. Thank you for the gifts of food and bedding, of money, of dog walking and Thank you to all who have adopted a dog, we hope to see you all again in 2010!
