We are open 10am till 12.30pm and then again 1.30pm till 3pm. 7 Days a week, feel free to pop in and have a look.
We have been a Rescue centre for 20 yrs know, and are here to help the local strays, peoples unwante dogs and dogs from pounds that are on death row. We are most dogs last chance of a home. We are a REAL rescue that has dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, we do not deal in litters of puppies any puppies we have at the rescue are strays or a few times a year we have a stray female dog that comes in heavily pregnant and has her puppies with us. We are a NONE profit organisation that is surported by Scarsdale vets in derby, they are the biggest vetinary hospital in the Notts/Derby area and if you go to a rescue that is not surportted by a vet or that dont vaccinate their dogs then do not get one from them, as they are just their to make money out of the dogs.
Rehoming fees

All come with full vaccinations, microchip and 4 weeks free insurance.
Our vets Scarsdales that surport our work in every way, will spey and neutered your rescue dog at a speacial rate, but you must pay us and get a voucher of us to take to the vets along with proof of rehoming the dog.
All pedigrees and most bitches do have to be rehomed with a spey/neuter voucher.
Speying for a bitch is £85
Neutering for a dog is £55
How to rehome a dog
Once you have found a dog you like, you then fill your details in for that dog. If the paperwork looks ok then we send out the local Dog Warden to do a home check. Once you have passed the home check you may rehome the dog for a set rehoming fee.
What happens if the dog doesnt settle?
If you find you have made a mistake and need to bring the dog back to us then in the first 3 weeks, ring and talk to us and we should be able to take the dog back if we have space. If over 3 weeks it is very limited as we are full 98% of the time due to people buying dogs and not knowing how to handle them or just not wanting to look after the dog any more. A DOG IS A LIFETIME COMITTMENT NOT JUST FOR A YEAR OR TWO, WHILE IT IS CUTE AND WELL. On average a dog will cost you £10,000 in its lifetime, can you afford that??????
